Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump truck commercial vehicle to deliver bulk materials across designated routes
- Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist with yard tasks including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery records
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of products, sometimes requiring physical strength for moving bulky or heavy items
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route planning and navigation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience operating dump trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Knowledge of customer service principles and excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks related to moving goods regularly
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation
